Bec works with writers, directors, producers, production companies, brands and cultural organisations across story development, project strategy and creative leadership.
Supporting projects from early ideas through to funding-ready materials.
Supporting projects beyond the page.
Bec has worked across film, television and digital media for over fifteen years as a writer, director, producer and development executive. Her practice bridges story development, commissioning and production, supporting projects from their earliest ideas through to screen. Her experience includes commissioning and developing work for Channel 4, BBC, Arts Council England and Dazed Media, as well as development and executive producing for award-winning production companies, brands and independent filmmakers. Alongside her own directing practice, Bec supports writers and directors developing narrative and documentary projects, helping shape stories, pitches and long-term creative strategy.
Rates are priced for freelancers. If you are reaching out on behalf of a company or organisation, rates may vary. Rates may also vary depending on the project scope. Prices are reflective of short-form projects with materials of between 10 and 20 pages.
Each year Bec sets aside a limited number of reduced-cost and free development sessions for writers and creatives who face structural barriers to accessing support. These sessions are offered to Black artists, artists of colour, those of the global majority, disabled artists and queer artists. Bec releases sessions at the start of the year and over summer.
Follow Bec on instagram and you will be first to know when new sessions are released.
